The SAP system administrator is responsible for the management of SAP technical components, databases and the various associated environments. He/she is responsible for setting and maintaining production, quality and development environments, performance analysis and optimization, security, and databases operation, manipulation in context of leading the SAP life cycles. Your new challenge:
  • Plan and realize the installation, configuration, maintenance and administration of the SAP software components
  • Ensure the infrastructure (OS and DB) is suitable for current and future needs (Capacity planning)
  • Participate in the development and implementation of backup and security policies and ensure the integrity and protection of our SAP environment
  • Managing the accesses in terms of security and ensure that safety procedures are up to date and enforced
  • Support our functional and development teams
  • Establish the technical specifications related to our SAP systems
  • Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.) and establish solution orientated processes in accordance to that.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and the corresponding interfaces
  • Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all instances
  • Perform SAP client administration (create, copy and delete, export/import clients
What we ask for:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or equivalent
  • Two to three years of work experience in a similar role
  • Two to three years SAP Basis Experience
  • Experience in running Linux Server and in maintening Oracle DB
  • Proven experience in SAP ECC, gateways for Fiori, main entrance, IDM,SOLMAN etc.
  • Fluency in English and German, preferably complemented by a good command of French
  • You are used to responsibility and act solution oriented and as a teamplayer
  • You have the ability to cope with high workload, to prioritize and to plan ahead
