Manager Supply Chain and Procurement (m/f/d)
You will enjoy having this responsibility:
The Manager Supply Chain and Procurement has leadership responsibilities and is accountable for the actions of the assigned procurement team, warehouse and logistics employees, project buyers and supplier managers within the TAS-CH Supply Chain Management operation.
It also involves the following tasks:
Responsible for all the Supply Chain and procurement activities within Thales Alenia Space Switzerland
Direct management of the local Supply Chain and Procurement team
As Supply Chain country representative, responsible for the coordination with TAS Group Procurement and for the associated reporting.
Responsible for the implementation of the Supply Chain and Procurement processes at TAS-CH in accordance with TAS Group policy.
Key role in Bid management (estimation of procurement cost, request for offer to suppliers, coordination with TAS Group Category Buyers, negotiation…)
Key SAP user and leading role in implementation of new SAP solutions and analysis for better process execution, traceability and time reduction
Identification of profitable suppliers and initiation of procurement partnerships
Negotiation with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Approval of ordering of necessary goods and services
Responsible for contract management related to supply chain activities
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
University Degree with focus on Supply Chain Management, Procurement or similar
Significant experience in industry and in particular in supply chain coordination (preferably in aerospace, aeronautic, defense or electronic industry)
Very strong proficiency of supply-chain and procurement processes within an international coorporation
A first team leader experience would be a benefit
Sound knowledge of SAP (MM)
Profound knowledge in custom and import/export processes
Fluent proficiency in English and German, French is an advantage
Proactive and team-oriented mindset
