The Bobst Group has a new vision and as a part of this new vision, is transforming its Business Unit Services and Performance's (BUSP) Supply Chain. The principal goals of the transformation project are to improve customer focus, agility and speed by enabling increased equipment uptime, having a single face to the customer, simplification of processes and improved visibility through 24/7service. A new way of working is essential to meet these challenges.
Bobst will be centralizing its EMEA storage and shipment of spare parts currently located in seven different European storage locations, into a single HUB which will be located in BELGIUM.
In this context, we look for a trainee position to coordinate with the suppliers the implementation of the EMEA Hub.
A survey was launch to Bobst Mex suppliers to identify if they are ready to ship goods to Belgium. Answers are received day after day but reminder emails will have to be sent in September.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for collecting feedback from suppliers and creating follow-up KPIs
  • Support the BUSP Purchasing/SC Organization to meet goals and objectives linked to implementation of the EMEA Hub.
  • Act as a focal point for Vendors in case of questions or need for help.
  • Act as focal point for purchasing and procurement community in case of Hub-related questions
  • Support implementation of inbound logistic platform

Key activities
  • Animate Q&A section on internet website dedicated to the suppliers
  • Identify suppliers that have not answered to the survey and contact them if needed
  • Prepare communication kits
  • Create and follow KPI
  • Support Vendor Account Owners to complete purchasing information on each Vendor feedback
  • Follow contract updates
  • Animate recurrent meeting to inform purchasing but also procurement communities
  • Support BUSP Purchasing Manager

Bachelor degree in purchasing and/or supply chain,
English level B1 minimum - other language is a plus.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices. The site offers an idyllic work environment. In the countryside and close to major highways, it is also well served by public transport.
