In order to strengthen our Perfume Export Europe & Africa unit based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a talented

Reporting directly to the Europe and Africa Marketing Director, you develop & challenge marketing strategies of Europe & Africa distributors & direct retails respecting the brand’s luxury positioning, acting strongly on the brand elevation and adapting to local needs to grow market share by achieving sales target while actively support the Regional Sales team.

Accountabilities

Domestic channel

You develop tailored and effective marketing strategies for these markets, negotiating and challenging trade plan and additional visibility with retailers and distributors.

You ensure A&P consolidation and regular follow-up with distributors and retailers.

As a manager, you lead PR strategy for the area and you are the referent for distributors and for the following key missions:

  • With local agencies, drive the PR strategy for UK and France to contribute to brand elevation and reach of objectives
  • Consolidate and monitor print, online and social media performance
  • Ensure optimized PR and action plans in the area to sustain each marketing strategy

You collaborate with e-commerce team to ensure strategy alignment and build recommendations for strong assets, optimized copy and calendar of e-retail planning to support key launches.

Finally, you follow Capex development, you brief, coordinate the project with ID team and create visual merchandising planogram for retailers.

Flagships door focus

You deliver excellence at customer’s touchpoints: scenography of space, visual merchandising, services, and online & social media visibility together with the on-line team.

You bring a differentiated customer experience, regular marketing activation, additional points of contact in the POS, reinforced a story telling to maximize brand awareness and negotiated new enlarged space. You ensure the follow-up of the mystery shopping results together with the implementation of the action plans.

Analysis

You monitor markets’ performance on launches and trade-marketing activities, ensuring they are aligned with targeted KPIs; you analyze monthly competitive launches and sales development and keep abreast of competitive products/development through monthly NPD analyses.

Reporting

You share monthly/quarterly detailed activity report, launch activities with HQ (A&P budget, brand activations, customer plans, launches reports…).

You prepare strategic and novelties presentations to distributors and retailers. You also held client meetings, presentations, promo/launch package negotiations.

You inspire and challenge distributors and retailers by best in class practices and regular market intelligence analysis.

You are the interface with marketing counterparts at HQ to ensure alignment of global brand strategy while providing market insights and recommendations pertaining to product development, promotional marketing, pricing and advertising.

Profile

Holder of a Bachelor or Master degree in economics, management, marketing or business administration, you have at least 4 years of experience in operational marketing. A previous exposure to luxury or beauty industry is required. You have proficient command in reporting tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook). You are fluent in English and French.

Willingness to travel up to 15-20% in order to visit our distributors and retailers.

Action oriented and solution-driven, with strong organizational skills, you are at-ease to solve problems.

Data driven with an analytical mind-set, you are detail oriented and work in a precise, rigorous and organized way.
