Job description

In this positionyour role isto coordinate all Learning & Development activities worldwide, to provide top-notch service to around 3000 employees in about 600 stores. You will be responsible, in collaboration with your team, for the follow-up, implementation and development of the retail training strategy for our retail staff: matrix, modules, contents and all related guidelines and materials, as well as training and support to the trainers of our subsidiaries (approx 20 trainers worldwide).

Main tasks will include:

  • Lead, coordination and support the team (4 employees)
  • Implement the established Training Strategy following the business needs in collaboration with the Head of Retail
  • Develop the training concept with new modules, or update the existing modules, materials and guidelines to the business needs
  • Implement trainings through the Train the Trainers
  • Ensure that trainings are delivered as per HQ requirements
  • Support and maintain permanent contact with HQ Departments and trainers worldwide
  • Ensure the correct update and implementation of e-learning worldwide
  • Review Manuals (SOM)
  • Understand and analyse sales figures and KPI's
  • Create reports related to trainings and sales figures
  • Search for new, innovative ways to train and implement it into the Swatch Retail Network


You are a professional with proven project management skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet and work effectively under time and resource constraints.

You are analytical and creative, capable of flexing solutions to changing demands. In addition, you have a demonstrated ability to gather, analyze information from multiple sources and recognize opportunities.

As a team player with good human relationship skills, you have the ability to coordinate, delegate and to motivate a team. Nevertheless, you are able to work independently and show strong initiative. You are proactive and autonomous but at the same time detail oriented. You are used to working in a fast moving & ever changing, international environment. Your creativity allows you to find out-of-the-box ideas and achieve goals successfully.

Professional requirements

You bring a Bachelor's Degree including at least 3 years of experience in the training and development field in a retail multinational company. Moreover, you have experience working across cultures and in a matrix environment. You have no problem working with numbers and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.


In addition, you possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; French, German or any other language would be a plus.
