About Us:

Swiss Life Asset Managers manages CHF 280bn and is among Switzerland's top three institutional asset managers. Its infrastructure private equity investment team is managing more than CHF 9bn on behalf of Swiss Life and external clients. Our mandate is focused on direct investments in core, core+ and value-add infrastructure assets in OECD countries with a particular focus on Europe and North America. Over the last 11 years we have executed over 60 direct infrastructure investments. The mandate is currently expanding to focus on control and co-control investments of up to EUR 500m. The international and dynamic team is based in Zurich and consists of over 40 investment professionals with extensive international investment experience in the infrastructure sector. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our core/core+ infrastructure team as a Junior Investment Manager (f/m/d) taking part in all aspects of private equity infrastructure investing from deal sourcing to portfolio management.

Your area of responsibility:

• Managing entire due diligence processes and advisor interaction; responsible for transaction execution and internal stakeholder communication

• Lead financing workstream

• Support deal negotiation

• Mentoring and managing of more junior team members

• Supervise financial modelling and valuation workstream

• Responsibility for preparation of investment memoranda and developing investment thesis

• Management / monitoring of portfolio companies; leading value-add initiatives on portfolio company level including board involvement

• Investment idea creation

Your profile:

• Strong academic profile from a top-tier university or business school

•  At least 6-7 years of full-time experience in an M&A / financing role at an investment bank, infrastructure private equity fund or a major consultancy

• Keen interest in infrastructure investments

• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills and understanding of corporate finance concepts

• Strong motivation and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to quickly grasp complex topics with a pro-active can-do attitude

• Proficiency in written and spoken English required; German and/or French or another European language is a plus
