Senior Manager - Financial Services, Deal Strategy & Operations

As a new member of our specialised, dedicated and award-winning Deal Strategy & Operations team, you'll participate in advising financial institutions and corporate leaders in the financial services industry. Join us and be trusted with high-responsibility (LW1) projects to create and maximize shareholder value, leverage deal and restructuring best practices, and reliably bring the full set of sector and functional competencies to our clients with our global Deloitte network.

How you can make an impact

• Advise our clients across the M&A deal cycle from pre-close to post close on matters such as: acquisitions, divestitures, operational diligence, value capture and restructuring

• Conduct complex carve-out projects, integration & separation readiness assessments, operational & operating income upside due diligence, and determine stand-alone cost adjustments

• Creatively design target operating models and develop the integration roadmap in order to achieve the deal value potential and execute the integration

• Get the business ready for Day 1 by providing expert advice through functional perspectives in front office, operations, governance, compliance, IT or support functions, depending on your expertise and interest

Who we are looking for

• You're a skilled problem solver and analytical thinker as well as a reliable, committed and empathetic teamwork person. Plus, you have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, finance, economics or similar, with good understanding of financial statements and corporate finance terms

• Proficiency in both English and German
• Optional additional advantage: functional knowledge in the financial services industry (in one of the following areas: front office, operations, compliance or IT)
