In order to strengthen its team, the School of Engineering is inviting applications for a position of:

Senior academic associate UAS - Biotechnology (80-100%)

Your mission

  • Contribute to the teaching in Biotechnology
  • Provide supervision, instruction, and mentorship to students throughout their educational journey
  • Undertake R&D projects and industrial assignments within the Institute of Life Sciences
  • Participate in the acquisition of R&D project mandates

Yourprofile

  • PhD in Bioprocess Engineering or related field; a minimum of 5 years of work experience, academia and industry, in process development, biotechnological production or a related field
  • Demonstrated background in biopharmaceutics, downstream processing and process engineering
  • Proven proficiency in programming with a focus on scientific programming, as well as design and analysis of experiments
  • Prior experience in project management, R&D project acquisition is highly appreciated
  • Considered advantageous: experience in molecular biology, formulation, teaching, and a solid publication track record
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in either French or German

Employment: 80-100%
