Customer Solution Development Manager The Customer Solution Development Manager (Senior Project Manager, Application) acts as a primary liaison in our OEM business for application and system development between our customer and internal stakeholders such as Research & Development, Product Management and Operations throughout the sales and conceptual phase. This position reports to the Head Customer Solution Development within the Partnering Business division.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Actively own and drive the development of customer proposals with project team including, but not limited to, assay and work-flow analysis, technical specifications, commercial aspects, product concepts, user touch-points analysis, system COGS projections, development costs and timeline estimates
Drive, manage and facilitate the trade-offs between application requirements and the system design aspects
Ensure cross-function project communication, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
Assist sales team with developing, presenting and submitting quotes
Identify general market trends and OEM requirements for laboratory automation needs
Support Partnering Business marketing and sales groups on strategic activities
Evaluation of state-of-the-art technologies
Provide input to Partnering Business portfolio management
Managing interdisciplinary teams of internal and external staff
Establishment of binding project costs and timelines
Our requirements for this role are:
Master or PHD in natural science (Molecular & Cell Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical)
