Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible to support the Switzerland Operations, Quality and EMEA Procurement teams. The candidate provides financial leadership in the areas of financial planning, reporting & analysis, reporting to the Finance Manager Operations Switzerland. You will be part of the Swiss Operations Finance team and work closely together with the Dutch Operations Finance team.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
Support the monthly actuals and month-end closing task and corresponding analysis as well as ensure the Hyperion Financials are reported accurately and timely.
Ensure that reliable information is available to internal customers and senior management at appropriate times so that sound financial decisions are made.
Support annual budget process and quarterly projections, play an active role in the monthly procurement / Freight costs analysis and support the overall EMEA cost accounting tasks and improvement projects.
Run manufacturing cost calculation of new manufactured items and be part of manufacturing related saving projects as well as procurement and freight saving initiatives including validation within STAR tracker tool.
Consolidate and review the KPI reporting and STAR reporting (savings initiatives) and maintain internal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Execute Ad-hoc analysis as required.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting of financial reporting, preferably in a complex multinational organization.
Strong analytical and data modeling skills, result oriented, flexible and pro-active.
Ability to set the right priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as the ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
Fluent in English and German, ability to communicate both orally and in written form with a clear and concise manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; SAP and/or Hyperion are preferred.
