Our main products are ARM® processor-based System on Modules (SoMs) which we combine with optimized operating systems. We are seeking for our Horw office a service-oriented and customer focused IT Support to join our team.
In this role you will be providing 1st and 2nd level IT support to end users in a service-oriented manner, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. You will also be supporting the team in IT infrastructure management and occasionally assist in global IT projects.

Provide 1st and 2nd-level IT support for largest branch office/headquarters.
Install, configure and maintain computer and software for employees. Provisioning of computers and software for new employees
Ensure smooth functioning of branch computer hardware and peripherals. Assist employees during IT system updates
Help diagnosing and solving hardware and software issues. Analyse application logs to spot trends and underlying issues
Escalate and coordination issues/task with global IT team for resolving network, server and datacentre related issues
Assist during major IT system updates and datacentre projects, including weekend work
Help maintaining documentation of branch infrastructure and IT processes
Maintain IT inventory database to track PC hardware and software licenses
Procurement of all IT supplies (hardware and software) for branch
Assist in evaluation of new IT tools and hardware and provide recommendations
Assist in troubleshooting various hardware and software systems in emergency situations
Desired Candidate Profile
A degree in a field of computer engineering or equivalent experience is mandatory. Scripting and programming experience relevant to basic system administration, as well as knowledge of computer hardware
Profound knowledge in the following operating systems/ tools and devices (physical and virtual computer technologies):
Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016
Expertise in Microsoft Office with Outlook, Anti-Virus, and Backup tools.
Knowledge of Active Directory management (account & device administration)
Experience with SMB HP/Cisco network equipment
Basic Networking Knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other SMB networking concepts
Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Superior analytical and conceptual thinking, striving to identify the root causes of issues.
Excellent communication skills, building strong relationships with all stakeholders
English language skills in reading, writing and speaking comparable to Level C1 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
