Country Cyber Security Officer
We are currently looking for a Country Cyber Security Officer (CSO) for our team in Zurich. The CSO is responsible for achieving all cyber security business objectives of the Huawei Switzerland Office.
Work closely with public affairs team to establish and improve the cyber security vision and implementation. You will mainly deal with the national security department and bear the responsibility of speeches and policy communication in the local country to effectively communicate and message Huawei’s security strategy and management practices, build Huawei’s security brand locally to build security trust with consideration to security issues in customer delivery.
Develop the cyber security plan of the Huawei Switzerland office, establish cyber security business system, set up and optimize relevant business processes to meet cyber security requirements, be responsible for the management, supervision and implementation; organize internal effective communication and training to improve the cyber security awareness of all employees in the Huawei Switzerland Office
Support the GCSO Office to establish and strengthen the end to end cyber security assurance system; identify first-hand cyber security best practices and collect and react to concerns of government of the local country, security organizations and customers as security requirements for the improvement of business departments; participate in and provide appropriate suggestions on the development of security policies and optimizing the end to end process.
Work with public affairs, key account departments, and business groups to encourage senior offices of customers and governments to visit Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen so as to establish strong and deep relationship; importantly, show or demonstrate the details of Huawei’s cyber security approaches to stakeholders to give an impression of Huawei’s security practices to stakeholders and facilitate the selling of Huawei solutions locally.
As the coordinator of managing security crisis in Switzerland, develop and execute the crisis management mechanism to minimize the negative impact; take advantage of the crisis to further messaging and branding goals, plan and message Huawei’s security practices to turn the crisis into an opportunity; summarize the areas of improvement in security exposed in the crisis and follow up the improvement in a close-looped manner. In case of any major security crisis, escalate to GCSO immediately and set up an emergency response team between GCSO and Switzerland team to work closely to solve the crisis.
Bachelor's Degree or above within the ICT field
Work experience as CSO or expert in ICT companies, or executives in cyber security or products that are used by Government security agencies
Extensive knowledge of cyber security and technology, preferably from a diverse technology company or broadly based engineering/ supply chain
Have industry-acknowledged security certifications and/or experience with national or international organizations.
State of art understanding of the rends of international and regional cyber security policies and be able to interpret differences between the policies
Knowhow of telecom security certification authorities in different regions, their processes and procedures
Work experience in or involved with governmental agencies
Outstanding external communicator who has demonstrable experience in communicating complex and sensitive information and topics
Strong ability to learn, self-management skills and the ability to work independently
High flexibility and able to manage multiple tasks, being target oriented and able to work under pressure
Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high paced organization.
Fluency in German and English is a must, French preferred
