A key role which requires detailed knowledge and experience of Cyber Security. The Cyber Security Country Sales
Specialist will be responsible for the introduction of Cyber Security topics, and demonstration of security expertise,
into local Enterprise customers. The goal is to build a sustainable Cyber Security business in country, and to
establish this through solution development, integration and delivery of cyber security services.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Work within existing and new accounts to promulgate the Telekom Security approach and portfolio using a consultative
- Have the ability to work across varied industry sectors.
- Drive successful implementation of internationally planned comprehensive sales push measures in country.
- Contribute to Account- and Opportunity Planning, including global top accounts, to position security solutions with
goal to increase security related order entry share and revenues.
- Pitch value propositions for stand alone or overarching Cyber Security services and products.
- Be equally comfortable collaborating with new business hunting teams or existing customer teams
- Take on overall responsibility in local, complex embedded security projects for tender and contract creation until
the closing for Security (big/major deal environment).
- Meet and develop client relationships, talking through capabilities, probing client requirements and presenting
solutions at technical workshop level
The successful candidate will exhibit the following attributes:
- Expert Security knowledge in area of Network, ITC Services and SoC. Ideally will have experience in a pre-sales
technical support role including designing solutions incorporating managed security services, security projects and
- Understand and communicate the digitalisation trend and securitys contribution to it.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with central Cyber Security / Telekom Security unit with dotted line reporting.
- Capability to develop security solutions based on customer requirements and using the security portfolio of
T-Systems together with Solution design authority and support overall enterprise architects for the Security part.
- Conduct solution reviews and validation (technical feasibility and ability to deliver within allocated time and
- Work with partners to understand and promote reselling portfolio relating to, for example, DDOS, End Point Security
and other portfolio.
- Participation in the development of international security solution offerings
- Up to date knowledge of SIEM, innovative Cyber solutions and products.
- Oversight and continuous improvement of Cyber Security solution documentation and especially development and
promotion of re-usable material
- Maintain and develop key relationships with external and internal stakeholders sales, design and technical.
- Ability to represent company at trade fairs/shows as knowledgeable expert in topic
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
- Have acted as a relied upon Security expert within the business.
- Minimum five years experience in similar role.
- Personal effectiveness, have good communication skills and negotiation as well as cooperation and teamwork.

Sales cycle management experience
