Strategic Purchasing Manager – Software & Hardware

Your Tasks
As a Strategic Purchasing Manager – Software & Hardware you will be responsible for the following scope of duties:

* Development and Implementation of purchasing strategies as well as changing prevailing strategic plans
* Specification development on the foundation of stakeholder needs & market offering
* Analysis of purchasing categories launch sourcing initiatives where needed as well as the related evaluation of suppliers
* Negotiation with suppliers & establishment of frame agreements
* Close cooperation with stakeholders and departments
* Supplier management: building up a trusted relationship with key vendors
* Producing reports, statistics and calculations for report to substantial hierarchy levels

Your Profile
You are distinguished by the following characteristics:

* A technical apprenticeship in combination with a further education in procurement or equal
* Primarily 5 years of practical experience within the fields of purchasing technology categories
* Several years of experience within the telecommunication industry related procurement organization
* A striking ability to cooperate with senior stakeholders
* Very good communication skills referring to strong negotiation skills with international suppliers
* The ability and intention to travel inside Switzerland
* Outsized English skills at a business level (spoken and written) as well as fluent in German
