We are looking to hire a M&A and Strategic Projects Manager to support the execution of Panalpina’s Merger & Acquisition (M&A) strategy as well as strategic projects brought forward by the Executive Board

Responsibilities

• Support the formulation of the M&A strategy (analysis of targets, recommendation to senior management)
• Independently execute M&A transactions and support of the post-merger integration
• On an ad-hoc basis, independently execute strategic projects brought forward by the Executive Board or Board of Directors (market entry strategy, , strategic partnerships, Joint Ventures) etc.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree: Business Administration or Finance
• CFA , CPA advantageous
• Minimum five years of professional experience in Strategy Consulting, M&A or Corporate Development with either/or

* International Company
* Big 4 Accounting Firm
* Mid-Market M&A Advisory Firm

• Logistics or Forwarding experience preferred
• Knowledge about markets and competitors
• Knowledge about trends and challenges for the industry
• Understanding of business principles and language, incl. the fundamentals of finance and profitability
• Overall understanding of business processes and interdependencies
