Develop and implement a global communications strategy for Sonova's business brands within key defined markets
Act as a spokesperson to media for Sonova's business brands, as well as key business customers
Create initiatives and stories to educate the general public about our hearing care solutions
Support communications activities of global product launches
Develop collaborative working relationships with media outlets in key markets
Establish and run the international network and governance model for Public and Media relations
Research and write briefing material, press releases, articles and other content for external use
Take overall responsibility and management of public relations agencies in key countries
Closely monitor media coverage and support in establishing a state-of-the-art issue management system
University or Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism or social sciences
5-7 or more years track record in corporate communications or PR consultancy, with a broad knowledge in various communications disciplines (Media Relations, PR, Public Affairs etc.)
Knowledge of and experience in managing communication channels, including Social Media
Excellent relationship management, interpersonal skills and high credibility and trustworthiness
Experience in navigating a large, global, complex organization and the ability to act independently. Must be comfortable navigating between top-level decision makers
Entrepreneurial attitude, natural team-player orientation and a good sense of humor. Ability to work well with a diverse set of global colleagues across a range of cultures
Outstanding strategic thinking and flexible 'can-do attitude'. Ability to set priorities and remain highly organized in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
Excellent writing, editing and verbal communications skills in English, most preferably native speaking, German is a must, any other language, especially French, is a plus
