The Forum engages the foremost political business and other leaders of society to shape global regional and industry agendas.
As part of the Partner Engagement team the Community Specialist is responsible for assisting and supporting the Community Leads in the team in the execution of business engagement plans and associated operational and administrative requirements to ensure the successful engagement of business Members and Partners from the region in the full range of the Forum's activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Community Leads in managing ongoing Member and Partner relationships which involves sourcing company information following up queries from Members identifying opportunities for engagement maintaining communications and operational/administrative tasks and preparation of engagement plans
Work with teams across the Forum's global centres to ensure the successful engagement of Partners and Members in Forum activities and events including industries communities or regional and global System Initiatives of the Forum
Ensure that the relevant calendars and agendas for each area of work are made available and communicated to the Partner and Members in a timely manner
Planning and operations
Ensure that the operational and logistical requirements of Members and Partners from the region are understood and reflected in internal admission policies event timelines and operational plans
Develop and manage event timeline s ensuring that event invitations and supporting materials for events are produced appropriately and on time
Ensure that operational and logistical matters related to events are communicated to Members
New business development
Provide support to the new business development activities of the team including maintaining target lists of companies to be approached within the region outreach to selected companies and developing initial proposals for internal review
Support the team in the timely implementation of strategic tasks associated with the engagement of the Member/Partners of the region
Prepare team/cluster meetings take meeting minutes and ensure facilities are in place for meetings emsp
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor or master's degree in business administration or hospitality or international relations
Excellent communication organization and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Office Excel PowerPoint and Salesforce
Good oral and written communication skills with fluency in English
Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure and to multitask in a time-efficient manner
Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment with attention to detail
1-3 years' experience in key account management sales business development or events in a corporate environment
Knowledge of the region including key geopolitical and economic issues developments and trends affecting people and businesses would be a plus
