Contractor 12 months in Basel – site transfer and launch
Our customer is a big Pharma player in Basel, offering a wide range of globally established and recognized products. The entire value-added chain, from the early stage of R&D, up to clinical studies, launch & market support is controlled from Basel.
This role is responsible for site transfers and product launches. This includes addressing timelines and tracking/monitoring changes against overall project timeline. You provide launch scenario and ramp up-ramp down planning with supply sites, especially when critical uncertainties arise. This role is critical for the long term structure of the supply chain; it requires regular alignments with diverse stakeholders, a structured portfolio and project management approach and a high degree of reliability and confidentiality.
You will be the process owner for supply related changes which includes:
-Alignment on mitigation strategies needed to achieve tight timelines
-Alignment on mid and long term supply planning and bridge stocks required for major launches and transfers
-Alignment on mid and long term capacity planning of supply sites for launches and transfers
-Alignment on inventory and obsolescence management as part of launch scenario planning
-Launch Excellence performance and reporting ensuring team is hitting agreed launch and transfer timelines
-Control tower within the organization for changes ongoing on various internal and external supply sites
-Act as a change coordinator for the Launches in the product lifecycle management system
-Degree in business, logistics, engineering or equivalent experience
-+3 years supply chain management and product lifecycle management experience in Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products or ISO Regulated industry
-hands-on experience in the use and implementation of ERP, forecasting systems (SAP/APO) and lifecycle management systems
-Knowledge of product life cycle management, forecasting and production planning
You are able to drive results, manage complexity and ambiguity, balance competing priorities and to develop tactical solutions to drive performance improvement. You have good verbal and written communication skills – English fluency is mandatory.
