Engagement Summary The IT Support Assistant will have responsibility f or: · Providing day to day 1st & 2nd level support for bo th hardware and software related to EndUserComputin g (including Hardware and Software support, telephony land and m obile, and printers) · Assisting in the setup of meeting presentations and Videoconferencing calls · Preparing in the desk set up of new joiners, includ ing PC, phones, network connection and AD account · Install, configure and maintain workstations hardwa re and software (Operating system and applications such as Windows 7, Office 2016, Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, e tc) · Manage IPhone, computers, printers, scanners and ot her hardware · Follow and maintain applications deployment via SCC M · Preparing in the desk set up for visitors · Support and answer user questions in Geneva. Also s upport and interact in an international IT team · Document standards and follow procedures · Will be required to work beyond normal business hou rs and be on call Qualifications and Experience · Experience: Preferably at least 8-10 years' experie nce as helpdesk or similar position · Very strong technical skills on Microsoft environme nt (Workstation Windows OS and Office suite) · Knowledge of telephone systems (VoIP Avaya, MDM) · Knowledge of SCCM, Citrix and GPO an advantage · Previous experience working with a commodities and/ or trading industry, an advantage · An understanding of trading applications and busine ss trading, a very good advantage · Education: Preferably Bachelor of Science in Comput er Engineering or related IT Course · Fluent in English + French (written and verbal) Personal Characteristics · Flexible and available out of business hours · Highly responsive, energetic and enthusiastic · Capable of prioritising tasks and meeting critical deadlines · Structured and rigorous · Good management under stress and pressure · Excellent judgment, attention to details · Can work independently and report to the System Adm inistrator. · Strong communication skills, both verbally and in w riting · Solution and results oriented · Team player, with an open non-political style and a high level of personal integrity
