Sales Manager Generics w/m 100%

Bachem. Pioneering Partner for Peptides

- Your responsibilities

- Grow Bachem`s generics business: identify and pursue new opportunities in international markets

- Identification and realization of new suitable products, negotiation of sales contracts and multiyear agreements as

- Develop new business strategies and proactively look for new opportunities (new customers, trade shows) in the
Generic and Pharma market

- Consult with internal stakeholders (RA, QA, Production etc.) for feasibility of new product registrations in
regulated markets (US, EU)

- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual achievement of revenue targets by providing accurate forecasting through
account activities and opportunity prioritization

- Organize and conduct visits to existing and prospect customers; gain and apply key account insight

- Build trusting relationships with external partners to secure strategic business position and long-term financial

- Consultative sales approach: point of contact triaging and/or responding to information requests relating to product
quality, regulatory filing, and GMP production

- Create and defend value propositions and drive entire sales cycle from quotation to delivery

- Active participation in internal budget, product design and market strategy discussions

- Defend and advocate for new business in front of Bachem Senior Management

- Represent the Generics Team as active member of product development/life cycle project teams

- Represent Bachem at international exhibitions and conferences

- Your qualifications

- Master or Bachelor degree in chemistry or related scientific field (PhD degree advantageous)

- 3 years technical sales experience in Life Science or pharmaceutical service industry

- Solid understanding of API manufacturing under GMP regulations

- Excellent command of English, ideally German and other languages

- Highly motivated individual with excellent time management skills, ability to work independently and set priorities

- Experience in EU/US regulatory affairs is a plus

- Demonstrated strong business acumen and ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with key business
partners and customers positively impacting business growth

- Proven selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting and closing and growing a sales territory

- Ability to travel 20%
