Roche’s Global Product Development (PD) organization is responsible for all late stage drug development. PD strives to find effective treatments for patients around the world through complex clinical trials, careful result analyses, high standards of safety, and close cooperation with regulatory authorities.
The Communications Business Partner (CBP) reports to the Head of Global Product Development Communications and is based in either Roche’s Genentech offices in South San Francisco or at Roche’s headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. As a member of the PD Communications team, you will serve as the Communications Business Partner to members of the PDLT’s leadership teams (PDLT -1). In this role, you will develop and execute communication strategies that support the functions’ business objectives.
The CBP is a communications expert and trusted adviser. Possessing a deep understanding of the overall business, as well as the specific function(s), the CBP develops communications strategies, plans and messaging to support the achievement of business goals, working to:
The CBP will work closely with fellow members of the PD Communications team and will interact frequently with senior leaders and peers in PD’s five main global sites, as well as with colleagues in Group Communications (Basel), Corporate Relations (SSF), the two Research and Early Development groups (gRED & pRED), Global Product Strategy and others.
