For our Information Technology End User Computing Department, we are looking for a:

General role :

Perform a critical role in defining and implementing the end user delivery strategy and solutions for Bobst Group.

Your role is:

  • to stabilize and optimize the full end user workplace and lead the evolution of end user computing technology, build partnerships with the global IT team, the Bobst Group user community and external partners

  • participate in the development of virtual, physical and mobile solutions

  • meet current and future operational needs

  • provide tactical and strategic input into standards, roadmaps and technologies to enable a robust End User Services Environment

  • ensure change control, real-time monitoring, accuracy, coordination, troubleshooting, problem resolution for supported IT systems

You will be under the leadership of the Head of EUC team and represent the ICT "Service provider" towards Bobst Group internal users. You will be responsible for all Service Level Management activities for those services.


Your mission:

  • Determine and set standards for the End User computing environment in terms of Hardware and Software and provide input towards EUC roadmap

  • Perform the analysis and design of new/changed End User computing workplace environment as well as assisting in the planning of the required implementation, in charge of technology watch

  • Provide 3rd line technical support for End User Computer Team. Work with vendors to resolve technical problems with computing equipment, mobile phones and software Support contacts at Group level

  • Design solutions with Architecture team for sustainable support and handover within operational teams

  • Ability to introduce new End User computing delivery solutions, drive issues to completion, prioritize and deliver on multiple projects at the same time with competitive needs and milestones with minimal supervision

  • Assist and provide guidance to Head End User Computer team on managing hardware and software in the End User Computing environment

  • Able to implement all Group wide validated EUC technologies

  • Display a mastery of Windows 7, and 10, Microsoft system registry, Active Directory User, Group Policy and hardware/software inventory tools

  • Be able of troubleshooting OS related issues and deployment of corporate OS image on end user’s machine, Application Packaging / Configuration and management / Scripting (Knowledge in SQL, VBScript and PowerShell) and IT Security (AV, Encryption, Firewall etc.)

  • Liaise with vendors and service providers while representing the business (internal customer) interest.

Your responsibilities:

  • Operational duties: in charge of incidents, you set action plans in order to resolve issues and documents about their resolutions

  • Project responsibilities: participate to the choice of technologies matching the Group IT Strategy

  • System maintenance: follow or update Standard Operation Procedures

  • Support Level 3: escalation point of the 2nd level support team, you solve incidents or escalate issues to the vendor support.

Your profile:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology industry

  • Specialization in ITIL V3 Foundation, understanding of ITIL, incident and problem management best practice

  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in an IT environment with exposure and strong understanding of Infrastructure platforms and technologies

  • Good understanding of infrastructure, network and security technologies and methodologies

  • Understanding of the EUC systems and infrastructure platforms

  • Understanding of VDI, Application Virtualization, Cloud services and MDM platforms

  • A continuous improvement, analytical and problem solving mind-set with an ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology, engage other members of IT and vendors as needed and critically think about alternative views to optimize decision making and standardize processes

  • You have an excellent knowledge of traditional computing tools

  • You are fluent in English and French

  • Experience in cross-functional, global teams which impact multiple business unit internationally

  • Strong interpersonal skills and conflict management skills

  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users
