Senior Mechanical Development Engineer
In this exciting and varied project management position, you will be part of the development team and work hand-in-hand with product management and customer service.
You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and take on the function of mechanical antenna design, with the focus on concept development, material selection, stability calculation and functional design. Your projects will mainly centre around application and product development. This includes model building, pre-series and series production. You will take technology ownership of the mechanical development of antennas and assume responsibility for their implementation, integration, commissioning, testing and product qualification. You will also assist with pre-series production and support production technology and process development. Participation in feasibility studies and concept studies forms part of your task, as does the internal and external presentation of research and development results.
You have an engineering degree in mechanical engineering / mechanics / polymechanics (ETH / HTL / FH / TH) and have experience as a designer or product developer of devices made of metal, plastic and compound material. You also know about injection moulding and pressure moulding design. You have 2-4 years of professional experience as a project manager / product developer in a similar function and are familiar with the implementation, integration, commissioning, testing and qualification of functional samples and prototypes. You are an experienced user of 3D-CAD tools (Catia V5), product data management and ERP systems. You are a team player with a high level of self-motivation and an independent work style. You combine abstract thinking with practical implementation. You are fluent in English and/or German for business use.
