The general role of the Compliance Coordinator is to support his/her line-manager (Compliance Manager or above) as well as generally the Compliance Office in Compliance and administrative tasks. This position involves high level contact and requires effective communication with other Zimmer Biomet departments and senior management.
Furthermore, the position also involves exposure to highly sensitive information such as contracts with surgeons and requires the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. It also requires considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
Your main responsibilities:
Handling and prioritization of various requests regarding Compliance policies and procedures
Conducts Background Checks on various business partners and/or affiliated organizations
Conducts quality checks on requests submitted to Compliance and ensures a smooth processing of HCP agreements in the Arrangements Management System
Cooperates and acts as a first point of support for employees of other departments in regards to the Arrangements Management System
Supports implementation, maintenance and continuous enhancement of different Compliance processes, policies and guidelines
Monitors and tracks Compliance reports
Assists in the initiation of appropriate disciplinary actions in case of Compliance process violations
Keeps records and files Compliance documentations
Prepares and drafts training materials and presentations to support the EMEA Compliance Management in regards to company-wide Compliance trainings and meetings
Your Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3 years work experience in administrative or related roles, experience in the Legal/Compliance field is a plus
Experience with swift comprehension of legal and compliance related matters
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook/Mail/Calendar, (Livelink) and the ability to learn new software applications
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, handle stressful situations, use initiative and innovation to handle issues and make decisions
Demonstrated strong organization skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, judgment and cultural sensitivity
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in German and English. Any additional language is a plus.
