As a Food Formulation Specialist, you will support and lead rapid prototyping activities and food formulation activities on specific defined topics, in direct communication and interaction with scientist and project leaders. You will screen and be updated on Nestlé internal as well external sourcing of innovative ingredients and technology solutions, being finally applied in innovative prototypes. You will explore cross category applications of scientific concepts by exploring and stretching scientific findings in concrete food applications.
Propose and contribute to new ideas and effectively transfer scientific concepts in prototypes in collaboration with scientist and project managers. Be able to run these activities and communicate/present activities back to key clients without supervision
Contribute to business related project activities with a proactive participation. Present results in written and oral form to relevant team members and stakeholders. Ensure inputs to projects are within timelines and project costs
Provide and ensure permanent update on recent ingredients and product innovations.
Integrate technical and formulation competencies into business relevant activities and prototypes
Bachelor degree from Hotel Management School or equivalent
At least 3 - 5 years of experience on food and product formulation
Demonstrated capability in food formulation and prototyping
Proven track record in delivering results and management exposure across several functions
Communication with Scientists and Group Leaders
Focus on customers and consumers
Fluent in English, any other language a plus
