Head of Monetization (f/m)

We are looking for a passionate expert who owns monetization at our company and believes in value based monetization/pricing. Someone who is data-driven, loves experimenting and trying new things, but someone who also really genuinely cares about our users. Amidst the available technology, traffic and user base, you will find ways to maximize revenue.
Your role - You will...
be responsible for monetization / pricing strategies and tactics at Scout24
develop a deep understanding of our different customers and their needs; leverage this understanding to optimize our revenue strategy
design, manage and analyze growth and revenue experiments
be an active part in our cross-functional growth squad: work closely with the management team of Scout24, Directors, Heads of Product Managment and the relevant stakeholders to uncover insights and new opportunities for growth and differentiation
develop metrics and presentation vehicles to track and explain the impact of monetization and pricing (initiatives)
provide strategic thoughts and leadership around monetization and pricing solutions (incl. their impact on revenue)
help us build out our monetization team over time as the company scales up
provide direction and coaching to pricing manager(s) and staff.
Your profile - You...
have a Master degree in marketing, business administration or similar, additional formation in monetization and price management is a plus
have solid and proven experience in pricing and monetization (>5 years) at a consultancy with commercial focus or within a business company
can prove value based pricing experience for digital products/services - preferably in two-sided marketplaces or classifieds with a strong perspective on strategy
are proactive, resourceful and entrepreneurial, with little need for supervision and not afraid of failure
have strong project / line management, execution, and excellent communication skills
have a high comfort with data and analytical thinking including a strong understanding of statistics
have a lean, fact-driven, process and KPI-oriented mentality
have experience in moderation / leading workshops and meetings
can make things happen and you like to work hands-on
