Lead the department of Procurement Maturity globally, ensuring that the Procurement function (Global category managers, Regional procurement team and Country Procurement team) has the organizational structure, knowledge sharing, skills and capabilities to maximize all strategic and tactical opportunities.
Member of the Procurement global management team. Working with the Chief Procurement Officer and top management of the group to define global procurement strategy, targets, and policy, and drive global performance.
Monitor and report on the performance of the Procurement function. Lead internal and external benchmarking in order to measure the performance of the function versus world class peers. Ensure that new and leading edge procurement practices are captured from the external environment and channeled into the Group.
Constantly assess opportunities for development of Procurement capability, engage collaboratively with senior stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and translate these into an overall strategic agenda that delivers excellence in Procurement.
Support the Procurement Heads of Region and assess the maturity of countries with Procurement Maturity Matrix.
Manage the Global Procurement Maturity team (4 direct reports), ensuring that a consistent high quality support to the global category management team is being provided.
Responsible for providing market data, market study, preparing of RFQ, collecting data from countries and potentially manage "small" categories.
University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, IT. Advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA)
Minimum 10 years business experience, incl. 5 years in senior procurement management role with exposure to supply chain management, complex strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards.
Proven performance in managing, executing, and developing an international team in global or regional procurement function (or equivalent), with requisite drive and energy to ensure a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage, and deliver complex projects in multiple cultures, countries and regions.
Proven ability to assess and align skill sets and capabilities across an entire function, design and deliver programs to develop capabilities and retain top talent.

Creativity, with the ability to drive and inspire organizational changes and innovation through an entire global organization.
Language Requirements English required, an additional zone/local language, German or French advantageous.
