Trader Pygas and Aromatic Feedstock

This role is central to shaping and executing feedstock trading strategies in a global, highly competitive market. You will ensure reliable supply through spot and term sourcing, actively manage and balance an integrated system, and capture value through disciplined trading of pygas and aromatics. Operating at the interface of commodity markets and the global petrochemicals business, you will directly contribute to value creation and business development worldwide.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and grow an aromatics trading portfolio (pygas)
• Identify and execute arbitrage and trading opportunities
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier/customer relationships
• Optimize logistics (freight, storage) and overall supply chain
• Monitor market fundamentals and price developments
• Manage risk exposure and deliver P&L targets

Your profile

• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• at least three years of trading experience in petrochemicals and/or aromatics
• Strong understanding of aromatics value chains, market dynamics, and pricing mechanisms
• Proven commercial track record with sound risk management capabilities
• Solid analytical skills combined with strong negotiation and decision‑making abilities
• Experience with derivatives and hedging instruments
• Established network within the petrochemical and aromatics industry
• Exposure to global markets, particularly the US, Europe, and Asia
