Technical Product Manager (Medical Imaging AI)
Our established international team of software engineers and data scientists is seeking a new colleague to help building the world's leading AI-based solution (software as a medical device - SaMD) that interprets MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) of all body regions for orthopedic and other clinical conditions. We are looking for a talented and motivated Technical Product Manager to drive the ongoing evolution of our SaMD. This role will work closely with the leaders of our software engineering and data science teams as part of the product management team.
Our engineering office is located in Wallisellen, with a 50:50 combination of on-site and location-independent remote-work.
Your role
- Conduct customer/market research and work with key stakeholders (including radiologists, business leaders, and IT) to gain insights on market and user needs.
- Build healthcare market and technical knowledge that will help make key decisions.
- Own the development of detailed product requirements and design documents and work with engineering and data science team to deliver on the roadmap.
- Write effective user stories that capture feature requirements and expected outcomes.
- Participate in all activities of the software engineering and data science team including, but not limited to, daily stand-ups, planning, and review meetings.
- Gain deep understanding of the clinical healthcare landscape with a strong understanding of SaMD regulatory and quality management requirements, and the unique challenges faced by healthcare providers and stakeholders.
- Be an active participant in the SDLC and contribute to high-quality delivery. Work with developers to refine requirements, optimizing customer value with feasibility.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical field.
- 2-5 years in technical product management or a related business or technical role (business analyst, product owner, software engineer).
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
- Curiosity with an extreme attention to detail that drives self-audit of your work, with the ability to understand complex systems and simplify topics.
- Looking for a startup environment that smartly and quickly delivers new features to market.
- Prior experience or interest in QM (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304) is a plus.
- You are a communicative team player used to work in an agile scrum team and are fluent in English.
