Vision Group is an online market-leader for contact lenses with 5 online brands, B2C, B2B2C and B2B offers and multiple touchpoints (webshops, mobile app, point of sale).

Now, we’re looking for a pioneering UX Designer to level up user experience for end customers and our partner opticians.
Senior UX Designer
Hybrid, with a great office culture: Zurich / Dietlikon

As our first dedicated UX hire working with our Head of Product (who will support you, with her UX leadership background), you’ll lead the charge in defining and crafting delightful, highly-usable experiences. You’ll work across product, marketing, and engineering teams to deeply understand our users, streamline interactions, and establish a scalable design approach. Your work will directly influence the way customers engage with our products.
Design intuitive experiences – Craft wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI to improve customer engagement (using our Design System).
Advocate for the user – Champion user-centered design within the company and educate teams on UX best practices.
Conduct user research – Partner with product managers to lead discovery efforts, including strategic user interviews and usability tests to inform product decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with product managers, engineers, and other partners in the company to bring research-driven insights to life.
Measure & iterate – Use qualitative and quantitative data to refine designs and enhance user satisfaction.
Establish UX foundations – Evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and usability.
You bring strong skills and experience in interaction design. We expect you will have collected these experiences while also performing user research and usability testing.
You are comfortable serving as an advocate for users and customers - learning about their needs through appropriate methods and bringing well-founded and brave recommendations into the company to guide decision making and great design.
You are proficient in Figma, with a strong visual and interaction design sense.
You love learning - including with new generations of tools (genAI-supported prototyping etc.).
You’re a strong storyteller—you can sell ideas and influence decision-making.
You thrive working with product teams in a startup or growth-stage company and in distributed organizations.
