Database Engineers/Administrators x 2 - SQL/Azure 80-100% - Remote

Project: Our client in the energy sector is looking for 2 experienced Data Administrators (Ref: 924313KS). You will join a growing cloud platform team delivering modern data solutions in the energy sector. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and Optimising database services in Azure. Ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Azure data tools and a strong understanding of data operations in hybrid or cloud-native environments.

Tasks:

• Build and maintain database solutions using Azure technologies (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse)
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, procedures, and database logic
• Support integration with internal applications and business systems
• Assist in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring activities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure data platform stability and reliability
• Follow best practices around data security, availability, and scalability

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Solid experience with Azure database services
• Hands-on knowledge of database performance tuning and automation
• Strong experience with T-SQL and Azure SQL services
• Experience in the energy or trading sector is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills; fluent English required
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach
