Lead Controller High Speed Division (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
Secure budget process and that the strategic goals are reflected in the budgets for High Speed Division Switzerland
Execute month end reporting and closing activities, financial statement review, analysis, state of the art dashboards and explanations and propose actions to be taken.
Review balance sheet items regularly, assess provisions and accruals, particularly for warranty and stock.
Develop templates and provide supporting analysis to measure financial business performance. Provide forward-looking information to support the Division High Speed in driving resource allocation, cost savings, NWC and inventory optimization.
Responsible for cost monitoring and cost reductions (SG&A, Travel and entertainment etc.)
Input giver for the strategic planning process (5 years plan) in the Division.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to derive accurate business forecasts (month, half year, year, 18 month) as input to global High Speed forecasts
Collaborating with Product Management for transparent product cost controlling and planning as well as transparent customer profitability monitoring, outlook and provide input for improvement plans.
Monitor legal risk for the global Division High Speed
Ensure correct revenue recognition and compliance with internal controls.
Input giver for risk reviews and investment proposals to the Division management
Oversight into the factory controlling with regards to budgeting, monitoring costs, utilization, absorption and productivity
Oversight into capital investments and monitoring of ongoing CAPEX investment from a financial standpoint.
Project work in and beyond the High Speed Division
Sound education in Finance and Controlling with experience in an international business environment
Experience: > 6 years in controlling/ accounting function
Structured and result oriented controller with focus on internal controls and processes
Demonstrated analytical and cross-cultural communication skills
High level of coordination and communication skills to secure and understand relevant financial information
Strong knowledge and experience in SAP (FI and CO, SD modules) and MS Office (Excel, PPT, etc.), additional Software Skills Copilot (AI)
Demonstrated good problem solving skill, approaching problems with open mind and persistent solution orientation
Language Skills: Fluent in German and English
