Team Leader Risk Management 80 - 100 % (w/m/d)
How you can make a difference:
Management Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Risk Management team, including staffing, task planning, and professional development
Ensure that the team delivers high-quality risk analyses, takes well-founded decisions, and maintains consistent, audit-ready documentation
Establish working practices that enable transparent reasoning, realistic risk evaluation, and traceable documentation
Contribute to improving and digitalizing risk management processes, tools, and data structures
Professional Leadership Responsibilities
Own and continuously improve the risk management process according to ISO 14971 across the entire product lifecycle
Consolidate and assess risk-relevant inputs from R&D, Usablility, Clinical, Quality, and other functions
Ensure risk-control decisions are justified, traceable, and compliant with regulatory expectations
Guide project teams so that risk considerations are incorporated into design and lifecycle decisions
Provide training and foster a practical, responsible risk mindset across the organization
That's what you bring along:
Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Natural Sciences or related field
Several years of experience in risk management for medical devices
Solid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 14971, ISO 13485, MDR, IEC 62304, IEC 62366-1, ISO 60601-1, ISO 10993-1/18562)
Clear and reliable leadership skills with a structured, pragmatic working style
Strong analytical abilities and confident decision-making
Very good German and English skills
