Team Manager Technology Governance, Risk and Control (80 - 100%)

In this exciting role, you will strongly contribute together with your team to the goals and objectives of Cembra's Technology division in its digital transformation journey by ensuring strong governance. You will lead the Technology Governance, Risk and Control Team. This first line governance team is responsible for defining, implementing and overseeing governance, risk and control topics in the Technology division. It also manages, facilitates and ensures compliance of Technology to external/regulatory requirements as well as internal regulations. Additionally, it acts as single point of contact for Internal Audit as well at the external auditors and steers the respective activities within the team.

Your tasks
  • Lead, develop and coach the team consisting of governance, risk and control experts
  • Further develop and maintain the Governance, Risk & Control framework in Technology and support other Technology departments in these topics
  • Define, maintain and oversee the 1st level control catalogues in Technology. Further develop, implement and execute periodic reports on 1st level controls in Technology
  • Deliver on and oversee the respective Champion Roles (e.g. Operational Risk Champion, Business Continuity Management Champion, Data Governance Champion) in Technology
  • Run or participate in intrabank governing bodies and committees
  • Implement and steer the implementation of the requirements of 2nd Line functions in the 1st Line (in Technology)
  • Deliver on and oversee the single point of contact (SPOC) role to Internal Audit as well as the external auditors

Your profile
  • University degree, further education in governance, risk and compliance or related fields is an advantage
  • Leadership experience in a similar role in financial services
  • 7+ years in (a) governance, risk management, compliance or audit role(s)
  • In-depth understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management on all hierarchy level and cross-functionally
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Solid written, verbal and presentation skills in English (knowledge of German is a plus)

Up to 60% home office possible.
