Interim Team Lead Demand Planning (all, 80-100%) - temporary from April 2026 until January 2027
In this role, you hold a pivotal role within the global supply chain organization. Your key responsibility is to create a comprehensive and aligned demand plan, which enables our growth strategy and keeps inventory risks in balance.

- Developing and maintaining the global demand planning strategy and organization in line with our long-term strategic business plan.
- Leading the demand planning process by overseeing the integration of various inputs (baseline forecasts, sales forecasts, market trends, risks & opportunities) to develop a comprehensive and aligned demand plan.
- Collaboratively working with the commercial organization to integrate regional sales forecasts into the global demand plan, ensuring that local market insights and commercial objectives are effectively incorporated.
- Facilitating regular demand review meetings with stakeholders from general management, sales, product, supply chain, and finance to align on topline expectations, forecast assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Overseeing inventory levels to ensure they meet demand without overstocking, coordinating with supply chain partners to optimize inventory distribution.
- Overseeing the net requirement planning on a warehouse level, considering the gross demand plan and inventory strategies
- Support the team in the transition to new ERP functionalities and planning tool, enabling resource management and actively bring a perspective from the industry.
- Utilizing data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, identify demand patterns, and provide insights to senior management. Developing and presenting regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and supply chain performance into the S&OP process.
- In the transition to a Global Demand Planning structure and planning tool implementation, sensibilize and work with the regional teams toward standard and best practice processes. Promote exchanges between the teams.
- Completed degree in economics, financial management, operations, supply chain management or equivalent.
- Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in Demand or Supply planning and leading of cross-functional planning processes, preferably in the fashion / outdoor industry
- Broad understanding of the E2E supply chain processes in an omnichannel environment in textile or fashion industry.
- Exceptional analytical skills and capability to manage complex business situations with competing targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner up and influence others to achieve joint view on business risk & opportunities.
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
- Excellent use of Excel and Power Point. Power BI expertise is a very welcomed plus.
