Location: Schlieren, Switzerland
Position Type: 100% (full time)

We are seeking a conscientious, detail-oriented, and self-driven individual to join our dynamic and growing team as a Research & Production Associate. This role combines hands-on laboratory production and quality control with opportunities to contribute to product optimization in collaboration with our R&D team. You will play a key role in producing and improving our MUSE kits — our proprietary reagent systems for biomarker detection — ensuring they meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
- Produce, scale up, and quality-control our MUSE kits and reagents.
- Purify oligonucleotides, proteins, and DNA; perform conjugation protocols.
- Prepare buffers and chemical reagents with precision.
- Assemble kits and execute QC protocols according to ISO13485-compliant standards.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Keep detailed, traceable records in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs).
- Manage inventory of production materials and maintain accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with R&D and product management to refine specifications and product requirements.
- Comply with all quality management, safety, and health protocols.
- Master’s in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related life sciences discipline.
- 1-2 years minimum of hands-on laboratory experience (preferably in relevant industry).
- Solid understanding of laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Experience with at least one of the following: protein purification, nucleic acid handling, or assay development.
- Experience with electrophoresis and/or immunohistochemistry.
- Familiarity with liquid chromatography, antibody biochemistry, or immunoassays.
- Prior work in ISO13485 or other regulated environments.
- Experience working with ELNs. Desired Attributes
