Change and Communications Lead (m/f/d)
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and apply change management strategies: Create change and communication plans that support the adoption of changes, ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged and minimise resistance to change.
- Provide guidance and coaching: coach leaders (Project Sponsors, Business Owners, and Managers) to help them effectively convey change messages.
- Engage the teams: Facilitate communication between different teams to manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Align with the Delivery team: Share communication strategies and successes with the wider team to ensure consistency and support.
- Create and implement Change Management strategies: Develop change impact assessments that will inform the engagement, communications and training plans, and ensure they’re integrated into the overall project plan.
- Lead Communication & Engagement Plans: Design and execute plans to create awareness, build desire for the change, and drive the desired mindsets and behaviors. This includes understanding the stakeholders and the impact of the changes in them, crafting messages and selecting the appropriate communication channels, and timing for the delivery of messages.
- Develop and deliver Training/Coaching Plans: Understand the learning needs, create the training plans and do People Readiness Assessments to ensure colleagues are prepared to adopt the change.
- Coach and facilitate leaders of change: Provide communication tools and techniques to leaders to help them effectively communicate the change to their teams.
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies: Communicate potential risks and dependencies to stakeholders and ensure that there is a clear understanding of how these will be managed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communication, Human Resources, or a related field
- Fluent in German and English
- Proven professional experience in change management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change initiatives, preferably in a large, complex organization.
- Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Leadership and coaching skills: Ability to guide, coach, and influence leaders and teams through change.
- Stakeholder management: Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Cultural awareness: Understanding of and sensitivity to cultural differences within the EMEA region.
- Collaboration and teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively with others and build effective relationships.
- Change management certification: Certifications such as Prosci Change Management, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or similar are desirable.
