Bioengineering AG is an internationally active company with more than 50 years of success in the development and manufacture of customised systems and equipment for hygienic and aseptic applications (pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and chemical industries). Recently, Bioengineering AG became part of the Morimatsu Group, a globally successful technology provider. This affiliation expands the company’s strong foundation with a global dimension and opens up new strategic perspectives – for our customers as well as for senior leaders who wish to actively shape the next phase of the company’s development.

Your role

In this key executive position, you will assume overall responsibility for the sustainable development of Bioengineering AG. Together with the COO and the CFO, you will lead the company strategically and operationally with a strong market and customer focus, working closely with the Owner Company and the Board of Directors. This role is based at the company’s headquarters in Switzerland, with regular international travel.

Your responsibilities

• Overall entrepreneurial leadership of Bioengineering AG with full profit and loss responsibility
• Implementation and further development of the corporate strategy
• Expansion of international market presence and active management of key customer and partner relationships
• Leadership and development of international sites and the global service organisation
• Close coordination and interface management with the Group organisation, particularly in Asia
• Building and developing a high-performing Executive Management team
• Ensuring transparent governance, effective risk management and robust controlling structures

Your profile

• University degree in Engineering, Management or Life Sciences, or an equivalent qualification
• Professional background of 10–15 years with proven competencies as Managing Director/CEO of an SME in an international, technology-driven or capital goods environment
• Demonstrated experience in strategy execution, growth and full profit and loss responsibility
• Strong financial, commercial and leadership capabilities
• Experience working within group or corporate structures, ideally within the life sciences environment
• Excellent communication skills in English (group business language, level C1+); Japanese and/or Chinese are an advantage
