We are currently looking for a 

Technical Sales Manager (SaaS – AI Chatbots & SMS Automation) (100%)

based at our Headquarters in Baar, Switzerland, starting immediately or upon agreement. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the dynamic and successful growth of the business, selling our SaaS solutions in the German part of Switzerland, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation, outreach, requirements gathering, technical and commercial proposals, up to negotiation and closing deals. You will successfully navigate proof of concepts and guide our customers to contract signature. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be accountable for achieving the defined sales targets and adapting the market outreach as necessary to successfully exceed your territory goals.

Global Message Services (GMS) is the trusted communications service provider for Enterprises and Mobile Operators worldwide with over 18 years of expertise in the industry and extensive knowledge of messaging, traffic monetization, and customized software solutions. GMS has recently expanded its Enterprise Communications business vertical by acquiring product capabilities around CPaaS, Generative AI and Conversational AI which will be your focus.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and grow your own B2B customer portfolio in German-speaking Switzerland
  • Identify, contact, and convert new leads into long-term clients
  • Sell both our AI Conversational Solution and our SMS automation platform
  • Conduct product presentations (virtual and on-site) and lead the full sales cycle
  • Gather customer requirements and define general technical service design accordingly
  • Create offers, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with Marketing for market outreach and service use cases
  • Coordinate with Product and Implementation teams for service pricing, development and implementation
  • Coordinate with Customer Care team for service tracking and administration
  • Share customer feedback to shape future product development

What we expect:

  • 3–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in tech or communication solutions
  • Education in Business Informatics, other IT/Computer Science related fields, or Business/Marketing/Communications with solid technical sales experience
  • Strong interest or knowledge in AI, automation, or digital transformation
  • Native German speaker (Swiss German is a strong plus)
  • Fluent in English (B2 or higher)
  • Self-driven, structured, and performance-oriented
  • Familiar with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Only Applicants who are fluent in German with a valid Swiss work permit and proven sales experience in selling solutions in IT, Telco and Messaging will be considered for this position.
