Digital Workplace Support Engineer

Job description:
  • Modernize meeting rooms & lead MTR rollout: Assess current state, define standards, select hardware, manage vendors, execute pilots, training, adoption, and tracking, and set up monitoring, support processes, and SLAs.
  • Implement workplace standardization & lifecycle management: Define client standards, optimize device lifecycle (procurement, IMACD, refresh/retire), collaborate on Intune/Endpoint Manager, compliance, software catalog, and maintain rollout documentation.
  • Introduce self-service stations for peripherals: Design user-friendly workflows/kiosks, integrate with ITSM for inventory and approvals, and provide guides, micro-learnings, and signage.
  • Operational support backup: Deliver 1st/2nd-level onsite client support, manage ITSM incidents/requests, perform IMACD, and coordinate escalations.
  • Deputize for team lead: Support prioritization, stakeholder communication, vendor management, reporting, risk management, and decision documentation.
  • Coach and promote continuous improvement: Guide support team members, share best practices, and drive process enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in workplace IT/endpoint management with proven project experience (ideally MTR/meeting room rollouts)
  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and device/room hardware; confident in ITSM environments and SLA-driven
  • Strong execution skills: independent planning, structured execution, clear communication, and reliable stakeholder/vendor management
  • Hands-on mentality: willingness and ability to step into operational support when needed
  • Open to travel (e.g., cross-site rollouts, vendor/site visits)
  • Excellent service orientation, reliability, structured work style, and clear communication skills.
