About the customer:

This is a rare chance to step into a high-impact finance role within a fast-growing, technically advanced startup at a pivotal stage. You'll have real ownership, flexibility in how and where you work, and direct exposure to founders and senior decision-makers. The environment values quality, autonomy, and long-term thinking.

Location: Hybrid & flexible (working hours aligned with CET, approx. 9:00-18:00)

Reporting to: CEO / Co-Founder

Team: Finance (small, senior team)

Requirements:
  • Owning month-end close, accounting adjustments, and preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements (Swiss OR)
  • Overseeing bookkeeping through external providers and automated tools, ensuring accurate cost allocation
  • Managing cash positions, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting topics
  • Coordinating Swiss corporate tax filings, VAT, and regulatory compliance with external advisors
  • Leading audit preparation and strengthening internal controls and documentation
  • Managing corporate governance matters including shareholder documentation, AGM preparation, and capital increase processes
  • Supporting board activities and corporate compliance as the group structure develops
  • Managing vendors, payment workflows, and contracts in collaboration with legal partners
  • Temporarily overseeing global payroll checks across multiple countries until the dedicated role is in place
Competences:
  • 2-4 years of experience in high-performance finance environments (e.g. Big 4, top-tier consulting, or equivalent industry experience)
  • Strong accounting foundation with solid knowledge of Swiss OR; GAAP/IFRS exposure is a plus
  • Experience across the full accounting cycle, including close, reporting, and compliance
  • Comfortable working with auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners
  • High attention to detail and confidence operating in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
  • Experience in an international or high-growth setup is an advantage
  • Business-fluent English required, German proficiency strongly preferred
