By leading structured and engaging sessions that support coordination, musicality, and confidence, you help build the foundational skills and self-agency that are central to the Ecolint mission.

About Ecolint & ENCORE

ENCORE is our dedicated performing arts academy, offering high-quality dance, drama groups, and LAMDA exam-preparation courses. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where students can develop their creative talents alongside their academic journey.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Design and deliver a year-long curriculum of structured, creative movement sessions specifically tailored for early years (ages 3-6).
  • Lead warm-ups, guided movement, and simple choreography appropriate to the age group.
  • Maintain a calm, inclusive, and well-paced environment that fosters a positive learning experience.
  • Support participation, coordination, and the development of self-confidence in young children.
  • Engage with families and prepare students for informal sharings or end-of-year performances.
  • Take accurate attendance, uphold safeguarding procedures, and potentially contribute to on-call cover teaching within the ENCORE programme.
Who we are looking for

You will thrive in this role if you possess:

  • Recognised training in early childhood education or dance pedagogy (required).
  • Significant experience teaching dance to young children (ages 3 to 6) and a strong understanding of early years development.
  • Ability to lead structured, play-based sessions with clarity, consistency, and a strong classroom presence.
  • Fluency in English is required; the ability to teach in French is a distinct advantage.
  • A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss/EU citizenship.

Your personal attributes:

  • A confident and caring approach to working with very young children.
  • Highly organised and committed to consistency across the 32-week academic year.
  • Able to build rapport quickly with students and communicate effectively with the ENCORE team and parents.
