As part of the Athletes & Corporate Communication team, you help orchestrate and further develop athlete projects and turn them into compelling stories. Driven by a passion for mountain sports, people, and communication, we act as the link between the athletes, Mammut as a company, and the public, ensuring that the international athlete team always feels like part of the Mammut team. The start date of this internship would be June 1, 2026, or by mutual agreement.

Do what you love

• Assist in the management of Mammut’s international and regional athlete team across climbing, mountaineering, skiing, snowboarding, and trail running, in close collaboration with the Athlete Management Lead.
• Support the integration of athletes into the seasonal brand calendar, including content, events, campaigns, and product launches.
• Coordinate athlete product ordering, deliveries, and equipment logistics, including seasonal allocations, product seeding, and ad hoc requests, ensuring timely and accurate support for athlete activities.
• Assist with cross-functional coordination of sports-related projects, particularly content productions, events, and campaign activations.
• Evaluate and process international sponsorship inquiries in line with brand priorities and athlete strategy.
• Support the coordination of media requests involving athletes, including follow-up communication with internal teams, athletes, and external partners.
• Support the communication of athlete projects across Mammut channels, including storytelling, copywriting, and coordination of content for online, print, campaign, and trade marketing materials.
• Monitor media coverage of the international and key regional athlete teams, including documentation, analysis, and regular reporting.
• Coordinate athlete involvement in product development by facilitating communication between athletes, Athlete Management, and Product teams, supporting feedback collection, product testing, and the sharing of athlete insights.

Play to your strengths

• Ongoing or completed university or university of applied sciences degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Communication, or a comparable field of study
• Interest and passion for sports/brand marketing sponsorship, as well as brand communication
• Active athlete in Mammut Sports Group’s key sponsorship categories (Climbing, Mountaineering, Skiing, Snowboarding, Trail Running) 
• Deep understanding of the outdoor landscape including its key stakeholders, competitions, etc. 
• Positive and outgoing personality with strong communication skills, team spirit, initiative, engagement, and a desire to learn
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, high level of commitment and motivation, quick comprehension, and strong learning ability
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with a high level of independence
• Understanding of the technical equipment and a strong knowledge of the international athlete scene across all sports would be a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German and French would be desirable
• Good MS Office skills and AI knowledge
