Team Lead Manufacturing Engineering

Acrostak is active in development, manufacturing and distribution of medical devices used for interventional cardiology. Our products comprise different types of angioplasty catheters to open occluded vessels as well as other high-tech devices in the field of minimally invasive interventions.

In order to strengthen our team in Winterthur, Switzerland, we are looking for a

Team Leader Manufacturing Engineering – 100% (f/m/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small team of engineers and technicians
  • Develop production and automation equipment for our clean-room production
  • Optimize and upgrade existing production infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and coordinate routine and preventive maintenance on production and cleanroom equipment
  • Prepare technical specifications for external suppliers and manage investment projects
  • Execute and document qualification and validation (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with production and product development teams in a dynamic, start-up style environment

Your profile

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering
  • Experience with production machinery, automation systems or custom equipment
  • Practical experience in machine improvements or process development
  • Structured working style and comfortable working independently
  • Knowledge of qualification activities is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and create drawings, electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Experience with PLC or PC based control systems (Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens or similar)
  • Knowledge of automation components and mechatronic integration
  • Good experience MS 365 is required Experience with Autodesk Fusion 360 or Solid Works is an advantage
  • Leadership experience is beneficial
  • German B2 and fluent English
  • European or Swiss work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
