Business Analyst / QA Test Coordinator – Regulatory Reporting & Data Testing
Job description:
- Plan and coordinate the overall testing approach for SIT and UAT
- Prepare, document, maintain and execute test cases, including regression tests
- Coordinate and track defects, ensuring clear documentation, prioritisation and resolution follow-up
- Support business users during UAT and facilitate structured business sign-off
- Report test progress, results, risks and issues transparently to the project team
- Contribute to go-live readiness by ensuring that testing completion criteria and quality gates are met
- Validate data pipelines and reporting workflows, including source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation and discrepancy analysis
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors
About the customer:
For our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / QA Test Coordinator to support a regulatory and data implementation project.
This is a 100% contract role starting as soon as possible and running until 18 December 2026, based in Zurich.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Test Specialist, QA Analyst or Test Coordinator in IT transformation or regulatory projects
- Strong experience in SIT and UAT, including test case preparation, test execution and regression testing
- Experience in regulatory reporting projects within financial services, ideally with exposure to AnaCredit or similar regulatory reporting topics
- Good understanding of data requirements, reporting workflows and financial/regulatory datasets
- Experience with data validation, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation and identification of data discrepancies
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar
- Knowledge of structured testing methodologies and test documentation standards
- SQL knowledge is highly beneficial
- ISTQB Foundation or a similar testing certification is an advantage but not mandatory
