We are currently seeking an
Academic Staff Member to serve as the Training Coordinator IPDET (80%) with a preferred start date of March 1, 2025. This position is initially limited until December 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension based on successful implementation and further development of the program. Under the leadership of the Head of Program, the Training Coordinator will establish and manage IPDET's on-demand training mechanism to respond to global training requests efficiently and strategically. The role will also include supporting IPDET's training activities and strengthening alumni engagement.

Tasks

Curriculum Development and Coordination

  • Establish and manage a comprehensive repository of curricula
  • Coordinate curriculum development activities across various training programs

Instructor Management
  • Build and maintain a roster of qualified instructors from GEI's network
  • Facilitate effective communication between instructors and clients
  • Oversee contracting processes for instructors and clients

Financial Management
  • Develop a sustainable financial model for regional and customized training programs
  • Oversee program budgets and financial planning

Client Relationship Management
  • Receive and respond to client requests
  • Prepare tailored technical and financial proposals
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients

Program Administration and Quality Assurance
  • Oversee assessments and generate detailed reports for all training sessions
  • Develop and implement certification and quality assurance schemes aligned with IPDET standards

Strategic Growth and Marketing
  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies to attract and retain potential clients
  • Create and implement communication, dissemination, and marketing strategies to enhance program visibility and impact

Scholarship Management
  • Design and manage scholarship programs to support participant engagement

Alumni Engagement
  • Develop and manage an alumni network to enhance retention and engagement
  • Foster alumni relationships through mentorship programs, networking events, feedback collection, and career tracking

Requirements

  • A Master's degree, preferably in social sciences
  • 3-5 years of experience in conducting evaluations and evaluation training, preferably in the context of international development cooperation. Advisory experience is an asset.
  • Experience in developing evaluation training curricula, including different learning formats (online, onsite, blended)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and certification processes in training programs
  • Strong knowledge base in evaluation methodologies
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent English communication skills and experience in client interaction
  • Ability to work with financial models and prepare proposals is an asset
  • Experience in alumni relations, networking, and retention strategies, is an asset
