To support our growing client and project base, we are looking to expand our team in Spreitenbach.

SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER (100%, M / F / D)

At SpectraFlow Analytics, a Senior System Engineer is the backbone to our Engineering and Projects departments: supporting the on-site engineers in the client projects with specialized knowledge whilst internally improving our system.

What to expect from the job:

  • Support a diverse portfolio of client projects by assisting the commissioning engineers to
    • Integrate our analyzers with the customers IT infrastructure and control system to enable seamless data exchange
    • Configure the analyzer GUI and services
    • Set up, commission and tune 3rd parts RMP software suites
    • Technically support the commissioning engineers during the commissioning phase
    • Create and maintain all technical documents, such as layouts, instructions, and manuals, needed to help engineers and customers
  • Respond to service requests on levels 1 through 3 and track activities and results on our service platform
  • Be in charge for health and updates or our installed systems, manage software deployment, backup, remote connection etc.
  • Train colleagues and clients for assigned topics incl. it’s documentation
  • Travel to our clients sites in case specialized technical support is required on site

What you should bring:

  • At least 5 years as a process engineer in cement or mining on the plant
  • Multiple years of experience in servicing/maintaining Windows and Linux-based embedded systems
  • Experience in programming PLCs and connecting them to control systems using OPC/fieldbus
  • Experience with near-infrared real-time measurement systems
  • Master's degree in information technology or similar
  • Experience in working with advanced process control software
  • A structured and organized work ethic with a proven ability to manage and document action-orientated tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex topics to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, capable of motivating teams and driving project success.
  • Fluent in English and one other language (written and spoken). Minimum A1 level German proficiency. Additional language proficiency is welcome.
