Finance Manager
In this role, you will take ownership of the company's Swiss finance and accounting operations as the business evolves from R&D into commercialisation. You will ensure robust, audit-ready financial processes while working closely with founders and trusted external partners.

Location: Hybrid & flexible (working hours aligned with CET, approx. 9:00-18:00)
Reporting to: CEO / Co-Founder
Team: Finance (small, senior team)
- Owning month-end close, accounting adjustments, and preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements (Swiss OR)
- Overseeing bookkeeping through external providers and automated tools, ensuring accurate cost allocation
- Managing cash positions, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting topics
- Coordinating Swiss corporate tax filings, VAT, and regulatory compliance with external advisors
- Leading audit preparation and strengthening internal controls and documentation
- Managing corporate governance matters including shareholder documentation, AGM preparation, and capital increase processes
- Supporting board activities and corporate compliance as the group structure develops
- Managing vendors, payment workflows, and contracts in collaboration with legal partners
- Temporarily overseeing global payroll checks across multiple countries until the dedicated role is in place
- 2-4 years of experience in high-performance finance environments (e.g. Big 4, top-tier consulting, or equivalent industry experience)
- Strong accounting foundation with solid knowledge of Swiss OR; GAAP/IFRS exposure is a plus
- Experience across the full accounting cycle, including close, reporting, and compliance
- Comfortable working with auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners
- High attention to detail and confidence operating in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Experience in an international or high-growth setup is an advantage
- Business-fluent English required, German proficiency strongly preferred
