Your Mission
We're seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to act as mini-CEO of the distinct product area - with direct P&L responsibility and end-to-end ownership of revenue performance, product strategy, and go-to-market execution.
This isn't a traditional product role - you'll drive commercial outcomes while building exceptional products, operating at the intersection of product, sales, marketing, and analytics.
What You'll Own
Revenue & Commercial Performance
- Direct P&L accountability for your product area with measurable revenue targets
- End-to-end funnel optimization from top-of-funnel awareness through conversion and retention
- Monetization strategy including pricing models, packaging, and new revenue streams
- Go-to-market execution working closely with sales and marketing to drive adoption
Product Strategy & Development
- Product roadmap and prioritization based on validated market demand and revenue impact
- Cross-functional leadership of engineering teams (typically 4-6 engineers), providing clear business context and requirements
- Market validation using fake door tests, A/B experiments, customer interviews, and data analysis
- Feature specification that translates business goals into technical requirements
Market Intelligence & Growth
- Customer research and insights to identify unmet needs and expansion opportunities
- Competitive analysis and market positioning to maintain differentiation
- Partnership and channel development to accelerate growth
- Sales enablement including value messaging, competitive positioning, and sales tool development
How You'll Work
Demand-First Approach: You validate before you build. Whether it's a fake door test for a new feature or direct customer interviews for pricing changes, you invest development resources only where real demand exists.
Startup Mentality: You create momentum across the organization, align stakeholders around shared goals, and foster a culture where everyone understands "the cause" and their role in achieving it.
Data-Driven Decision Making: You leverage analytics, user research, and market data to inform every major decision, from feature prioritization to pricing strategy.
What will you bring to the ride?
- Proven commercial focus: you bring hands-on experience working on revenue growth, sales enablement, pricing or monetization strategies. You think in terms of P&L and understand costs and benefits.
- Customer-centric mindset: you’re not afraid to pick up the phone to talk to customers, test assumptions, and validate insights directly.
- Data fluency: you can dig into SQL or similar tools to uncover insights, run funnel analysis, or conduct lightweight market research.
- Leadership and influence: you know how to align and inspire cross-functional teams (engineers, marketers, analysts, sales) towards a shared vision.
- Agile collaboration: you’ve worked with engineering teams in Agile setups, not by writing every Jira ticket yourself, but by providing the “why” and “what” with clarity.
- Entrepreneurial drive: you act like an owner, comfortable experimenting, iterating, and learning fast.
- Language: fluent German and English is a must.
- Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager or in a similar commercially-oriented role.
Big pluses are:
- Background in marketplaces, SaaS, or subscription-based models.
- Experience in sales enablement, telesales, or self-service product channels.
- Understanding of real estate, finance, or adjacent industries.
What do we offer?
- 6 weeks of holidays (with the possibility to buy up to 10 additional days)
- 40-hour week
- 18 weeks of maternity leave and 6 weeks of paternity leave. Also applies in cases of adoption.
- Flexible working arrangements (we strongly value work-life balance)
- Access to mental health, well-being, and counselling platforms
- Swiss transport system half-fare card and travel first class by train between SMG sites in Switzerland
