Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage all supply planning processes and activities, covering material requirements and replenishment planning, ordering and managing inventories to support the required availability
- Fulfil the service level agreements with stakeholder, while ensuring an optimal inventory level
- Ensure that the local stakeholders have the latest information by reporting on availability, (potential) bottlenecks and remediating actions
- Support strategic changes or initiatives based on internal and external supply trends and developments
- Manage the business and market intelligence from a local perspective
- Take responsibility for continuous improvement of the supply planning capabilities with the right supporting processes and systems
- Monitor and report on selected Key Performance Indicators
- Support the Senior Director Supply Chain Management in defining and managing the supply budget
What we look for in an applicant:
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
- High level of understanding of planning, developing, and operating optimized inventory models
- Experience in accurately anticipating demand before it occurs, using statistical forecasting, multi-level forecasting by product, seasonal profiling, econometrics, market intelligence and customer collaboration
- Eerience in engagement principles, managing change, business and budget planning, execution, productivity and quality improvement methods at a tactical and strategic level
- Good working knowledge of ERP (SAP) and purchasing processes and applications
- Experience of delivering in virtual and matrix organisational environments
- Track record as a decision maker, team worker and collaborator
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with commitment to accuracy and efficiency
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to develop and deliver executive level reporting
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
